Allan paints daily in his home studio on Vancouver Island. His art captures the striking scenery of Canada's West Coast in and interpretive style that enables him to communicate a host of emotions to the viewer. Primarily working in acrylics , Allan's art communications unique, single moments in time and allows the viewer to step out a world full of tormoil and confusion.
Allan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1950. His family moved to New York where he graduated in 1969 with an art major. Allan was accepted into the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he studied for two years. For most of his life Allan has been painting proffessionally - for over 20 years. His art is held in many corporate and private collections throught North America. He is an active member of the Federationof Canadian Artists.
